Job summary

XL Smart career in Indonesia is seeking an experienced project professional to lead the Direct Channel rollout and new store development. You will plan, govern, and monitor initiatives to ensure timely execution and cross-functional alignment.

The role requires strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, while coordinating with Commercial, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to deliver multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, PMO, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong governance and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in retail expansion, telecommunications, FMCG, or multi-site rollout projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rollout plan and roadmap for Direct Channel new store development and expansion initiatives.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to determine rollout priorities, timelines, capacity requirements, and risks.
• Establish milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple rollout projects.
• Drive project governance, including tracking, progress monitoring, issue escalation, and reporting.
• Consolidate updates from cross-functional teams and provide insights on progress and risks.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Network, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Facilities and others to ensure alignment.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
• Prepare dashboards, performance reports, and executive updates.
• Support continuous improvement of rollout planning processes and governance frameworks.
• Challenge project plans and provide data-driven recommendations to management.

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, governing, and monitoring Direct Channel rollout and new store development projects to ensure timely execution, cross-functional alignment, and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall rollout plan and project roadmap for Direct Channel new store development and expansion initiatives.
• Conduct data-driven analysis and planning to determine rollout priorities, timelines, capacity requirements, and potential project risks.
• Establish and monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple rollout projects.
• Drive project governance, including project tracking, progress monitoring, issue escalation, and management reporting.
• Consolidate project updates from cross-functional teams and provide clear insights on progress, risks, gaps, and required actions.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders across Commercial, Network, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Facilities, and other relevant functions to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively develop mitigation plans to keep rollout projects on track.
• Prepare regular project dashboards, performance reports, and executive updates for management.
• Support continuous improvement of rollout planning processes, governance frameworks, and project management practices.
• Able to independently challenge project plans, identify critical risks and dependencies, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Management, Project Management, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, PMO, business planning, operations, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong project governance and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools or data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Experience in retail expansion, telecommunications, FMCG, or multi-site rollout projects would be an advantage.
