Job summary

PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia is seeking a Reward & Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll, compensation, and benefits administration. The role includes benchmarking, budgeting, and HR reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of payroll/compensation experience, strong Excel skills, and fluent English; Mandarin skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefit, Reward, or HR Administration.
• Strong understanding of payroll administration, PPh 21, BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and applicable employment regulations.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and preparing payroll, compensation benefit, and budget-related reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is highly prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll, compensation, and employee benefit administration.
• Support reward analysis, compensation benchmarking, budgeting, and payroll-related reporting.
• Conduct salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, salary review, and reward administration.
• Monitor compensation costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare payroll, compensation benefit, and budget-related reports using HRIS systems.
• Handle employee inquiries and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Coordinate effectively with relevant departments.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
