Job summary

Kanmo Group in Jakarta, Indonesia seeks an IT Helpdesk Technician to install, configure, maintain store technology including POS terminals, printers, scanners, CCTV, and related software.

You will provide timely remote and on-site support for hardware, software, connectivity, and user access, log and categorize incidents, and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot store technology.
• Experience with POS terminals, printers, barcode scanners, CCTV, and related devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot store technology, including POS terminals, payment peripherals, back-office computers, printers, barcode scanners, handheld devices, CCTV systems, UPS units, customer-counting devices, attendance machines, and related software.
• Provide timely remote and on-site support for hardware, software, operating system, application, connectivity, and user-access issues.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, investigate, resolve, and close incidents and service requests through the approved ticketing process; escalate unresolved or high-impact issues to the appropriate support team or vendor.
• Monitor store connectivity and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DHCP, TCP/IP, internet, and related network services.
• Perform preventive maintenance, health checks, patching, software updates, configuration reviews, and equipment testing according to the maintenance schedule.
• Support new store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures by coordinating installation, testing, cutover, handover, and post-opening support.
• Support application releases and technology rollouts by conducting readiness checks, testing store devices, assisting deployment, and communicating issues to project teams.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, store operations, internet providers, and third-party vendors to restore services and complete assigned work.
• Maintain accurate asset records, device assignments, warranty information, spare-parts usage, and movement of IT equipment.
• Participate in shift, weekend, public-holiday, and on-call coverage as required to support retail operating hours.
