Job summary

Pt Shinmei Industry Indonesia is seeking a dynamic Remote Telecom Sales Engineer to drive sales growth across our telecom product portfolio. You will be the technical expert supporting the sales team, understanding customer needs, designing effective solutions, and demonstrating value from a home office in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities include crafting customized telecom solutions, conducting demos and workshops, and responding to RFPs/RFIs while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in sales engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting in telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of telecom technologies such as IP networking, mobile networks, cloud infrastructure, and managed services.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.
• Design and present customized telecom solutions, including network architecture, hardware, and software components.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and technical workshops for prospective clients.
• Respond to technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs with accurate, compelling proposals.
• Stay current with telecom technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on market and customer insights.
