Job summary

Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a Regional Aftersales HVAC Engineer to lead presales and application engineering across Semarang, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and Batam. You will guide technical design, support field teams and coordinate with partners to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate brings HVAC presales experience, knowledge of VRF/chillers and strong English, with Mandarin a plus. This full-time role is on-site across multiple Indonesian regions with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years HVAC presales or application engineering experience.
• Familiar with VRF, chillers and commercial HVAC systems.
• English required; Mandarin is a plus; consultant/contractor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales technical support for HVAC projects in the region, covering VRF, chillers and commercial HVAC.
• Support customer visits, technical discussions, equipment selection and solution design.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender documents and clarifications.
• Work with consultants, contractors, dealers and end users to drive project specifications and conversion.
• Provide product and technical training to sales teams and channel partners.

About the role Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a Regional Aftersales HVAC Engineer to join our growing team in Semarang, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and Batam. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the reliability of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the region. As Regional Aftersales HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for managing technical support operations, coordinating service activities, and overseeing the performance of our aftersales team. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of product performance in the HVAC sector.

Key responsibilities

Provide presales technical support for HVAC projects in the assigned region, covering VRF, chillers and commercial HVAC.

Support customer visits, technical discussions, equipment selection and 4 solution design.

Prepare technical proposals, tender documents and clarifications.

Work with consultants, contractors, dealers and end users to drive project specifications and conversion.

Provide product and technical training to sales teams and channel partners.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of HVAC presales/application engineering experience.

Familiar with VRF, chiller and commercial HVAC systems.

Consultant/contractor experience preferred; good English, Mandarin is a plus.
