Job summary

Midea Electronics Indonesia is hiring a Data Center Presales Engineer in Tangerang (BSD). You will support sales with technical guidance for data centre cooling and HVAC, and coordinate with HQ R&D to shape early project specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s in HVAC or related field and 3+ years of data center or large HVAC project experience, plus strong English and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration or related field.
• 3+ years of data center or large HVAC project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of chillers, chilled-water systems and data center cooling is a plus.
• Strong technical communication and solution design skills; good English.

About the role Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a Data Center Presales Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang (BSD), where you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise and solutions to prospective clients in the data centre and infrastructure space. As a Presales Engineer, you will be the bridge between our technical capabilities and our customers' business needs, helping to shape the direction of our data centre solutions and driving revenue growth through informed technical guidance.

What you'll be doing

Provide presales technical support for data center cooling and HVAC solutions,

Develop chilled-water and cooling-equipment selections and solutions.

Conduct technical discussions with owners, operators, consultants, EPCs and contractors.

Prepare specifications, compliance sheets, tender documents and clarifications.

Coordinate with HQ R&D/product teams and drive Midea specifications early project sales

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration or related field.

3+ years of data center or large HVAC project experience preferred.

Knowledge of chillers, chilled-water systems, CRAH/CRAC or data center cooling preferred.

Strong technical communication and solution design skills; good English.
