Midea Electronics Indonesia is hiring a RAC Project Specialist (Mandarin) in Jakarta to manage end-to-end RAC projects and grow key client relationships. You will liaise with Chinese partners, coordinate engineering, procurement and logistics, and drive project success within budget and schedule constraints.

The role demands Mandarin fluency, professional English, and 3–5 years of RAC/HVAC project or sales experience, plus a relevant bachelor’s degree. Occasional travel may be required.

About the role

Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a RAC Project Specialist (Mandarin) to join our dynamic sales and account management team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta, offering a strategic opportunity to manage and develop key client relationships within the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Climate Control (RAC) sector. As RAC Project Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving project success, maintaining strong client partnerships, and contributing to the company's growth objectives in this critical market segment. Your fluency in Mandarin will be essential for managing relationships with our Chinese partners and clients, positioning you as a vital bridge between our operations and key stakeholders in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end RAC project delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards and budget parameters
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders in the RAC sector
• Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution
• Conduct regular client meetings and provide updates on project progress, addressing concerns and managing expectations
• Identify opportunities for project expansion and upselling complementary RAC solutions to existing clients
• Prepare and present project proposals, quotations and performance reports to clients
• Serve as a liaison between the company and Mandarin-speaking clients, translating technical and commercial information as required
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape within the RAC industry to inform business strategy
• Maintain detailed project documentation and client records within company systems
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives

What we're looking for

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) with professional-level English communication skills
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management or project management within the RAC, HVAC, or related engineering sectors
• Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of refrigeration, air conditioning, and climate control products, systems or applications
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Knowledge of the Indonesian and broader Asia-Pacific market for RAC products and services
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce or a related field
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and support project activities
