Job summary

Puratos Indonesia is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of QA/QC experience in the food manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and Halal standards. You will manage audits, customer requirements, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal, and quality management systems.
• Experience managing audits and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and Puratos standards.
• Oversee HACCP, Halal certifications and other applicable standards.
• Manage laboratory operations, product release, and QC systems.
• Handle customer complaints and drive CAPA actions.
• Lead supplier audits and support continuous improvement.

• Develop, coach, and empower the QA/QC team.
• Promote a strong quality and food safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal, food safety, and quality management systems.
• Experience managing audits, certifications, and customer quality requirements.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
