Job summary

Sec Bowl is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Staff member to join its growing supply chain team in Jakarta. You will handle purchasing for raw materials, packaging, and operations, ensuring stock levels align with production needs and costs stay under control.

The role requires 1–2 years in purchasing or procurement, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a related field, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and willingness to work onsite in Jakarta. Fresh graduates with potential are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

• Experience in F&B, food manufacturing, or retail is a strong plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP or inventory systems experience is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with fresh and perishable goods, including cold chain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies.
• Source and compare suppliers on price, quality, lead time, and reliability.
• Request quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and keep supplier price lists up to date.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and flag potential shortages early.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, PPIC, and Finance on stock availability, goods receipts, and invoice matching.
• Resolve delivery issues such as quantity shortfalls, quality rejections, and returns.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier data, and PO status reports.
• Support supplier evaluation and help identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining supply continuity, including backup supplier options for critical items.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies based on stock levels and production needs

Source and compare suppliers on price, quality, lead time, and reliability

Request quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and keep supplier price lists up to date

Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and flag potential shortages early

About you
