Job summary

PT EGI RESOURCES in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Purchasing, Procurement, Expeditor Junior Manager to lead sourcing, supplier relations, import logistics, and ERP-driven processes. You will manage end-to-end procurement, coordinate import documentation and customs clearance, monitor inventory, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving opportunities while building strong vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong experience in handling import processes and international shipments.
• Familiar with customs clearance, import regulations, shipping documentation, and international trade procedures.
• Procurement certification preferred (CIPS / CPSM / equivalent).
• Possess Import-Export Certification / Kepabeanan Certification is preferred
• Strong understanding of import licensing, PIB, customs procedures, and freight forwarding coordination
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience in sourcing local and international suppliers
• Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English preferred
• Able to manage inventory planning and logistics coordination efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure
• Strong leadership and team management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement processes
• Source and evaluate local & overseas suppliers
• Handle import documentation and coordinate customs clearance processes
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and customs requirements
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement
• Coordinate logistics, shipping schedules, and warehouse operations
• Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders
• Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management
