About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager — Supply Chain to join our team on a full-time basis in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a strategic leadership position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory control and logistics activities to ensure seamless operations across the organisation. This role requires someone with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements, managing complex supply chains and leading high-performing teams to achieve organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic supply chain policies, procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Oversee procurement operations, including vendor selection, negotiations and contract management to ensure optimal pricing and quality standards
• Manage inventory levels across all locations, balancing stock availability with working capital requirements
• Lead and supervise the supply chain team, providing mentorship, coaching and performance management to ensure high standards of service delivery
• Monitor supply chain metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Coordinate with manufacturing, operations and logistics teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements throughout the supply chain
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply chain issues or disruptions promptly
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management regarding supply chain performance and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement or related logistics roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management position
• Proven expertise in procurement strategy, vendor management and cost optimisation within a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, demand planning and supply chain analytics
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate cross-functional teams in a complex organisational structure
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional certification in supply chain management (such as APICS CSCP, CPIM or equivalent) is preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision making is advantageous
