About the role

PT Universal Kreasi Rasa is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our procurement team in Cicurug, Sukabumi, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for ordering materials and supplies that are essential to our business operations. This role is integral to ensuring we maintain cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of goods across our supply chain.

What you'll be doing

Preparing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation

Tracking inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse and operations teams to ensure adequate stock

Processing purchase orders and managing the procurement workflow from requisition to delivery

Comparing quotes from multiple suppliers and preparing cost-benefit analyses for management

Liaising with internal departments to understand material and supply requirements

Maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions and supplier information

Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities

What we're looking for

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control

Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain supplier relationships

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software or ERP systems

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple purchase orders simultaneously

Ability to analyse costs, compare quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities

Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments

Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements within manufacturing and logistics

Problem-solving abilities and flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Willing to be placed in our factory in Cicurug, Sukabumi
