Job summary

About the role PT. Royal Industries International is seeking a dedicated candidate (Chinese Speaker) to join our team in Batam, Riau Islands. In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our production department, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position that will contribute significantly to the overall success and growth of our company.

What you’ll be doing

Provide leadership and direction to production teams, setting clear goals, objectives and translating the communication between chinese personel and local employee

Monitor and analyse production activities to identify areas for improvement and optimise workflow

Ensure production targets are met by effectively planning, scheduling and coordinating resources

Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure seamless operations

Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees

Train and develop production staff, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles

What we’re looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar production leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing industries. Fresh graduate are also welcome

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve production targets and operational excellence

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and communicate key performance metrics

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
