Job summary

ArkTalents is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to support the setup of a new food manufacturing facility in Indonesia and lead daily manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong factory experience, ability to own production performance in a start-up environment, and fluency in English or Chinese to coordinate with international teams.

You will supervise operators, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Solid experience in food manufacturing is preferred; candidates with strong factory-management experience in other manufacturing sectors may also be considered.
• Familiarity with Indonesian food production standards, factory operations, and local manufacturing practices.
• Experience in production planning, workforce management, warehouse coordination, and logistics-related operations.
• Able to work independently in a new-factory environment with limited existing team support.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and ensure production plans are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Manage production scheduling, manpower allocation, line efficiency, output, and operational discipline.
• Supervise production operators and coordinate closely with warehouse, logistics, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Support the setup of production processes, SOPs, and on-site management systems during the factory launch phase.
• Ensure compliance with local food manufacturing, safety, and quality requirements.
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive improvements in efficiency, cost control, and workflow.
• Recruit, train, and develop the local production team and establish practical shop-floor management practices.

An international food manufacturing company is establishing a new production facility in Indonesia and is seeking a hands‑on Production Manager to support factory setup and lead daily manufacturing operations.

This role is suitable for candidates with food manufacturing experience, or strong factory operations experience from related manufacturing sectors, who are ready to take ownership of production performance in a start‑up environment.
