Job summary

PT Sutandi Jaya Sejahtera is seeking a Staff Purchasing professional to manage procurement for large architectural projects across Indonesia, with a focus on YKK AP products. The role requires a detail-oriented, communicative professional with solid technical understanding.

Key responsibilities include creating POs based on PPIC requests, recapitulating procurement data, and monitoring orders from production to delivery. Collaboration with PPIC, field teams, and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

Staff Purchasing role in the aluminium and glass application sector, handling procurement for large architectural projects across Indonesia with specialisation in YKK AP products. The role requires a detail-oriented, communicative professional with technical understanding to join the team.

Key responsibilities

Recapitulate and manage all purchasing transaction data for project goods/materials on a regular basis

Create Purchase Orders (PO) accurately based on requests from the PPIC team (Production Planning and Inventory Control)

Monitor and track order status from vendor manufacturing process through to warehouse/project delivery on time

Conduct comparative analysis of price, quality, and lead time from multiple suppliers for cost efficiency

Communicate actively with PPIC team, technical/field teams, and vendors regarding specifications of aluminium, glass, and related accessories

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education (preferably Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field)

Minimum 1‑2 years work experience in Purchasing/Procurement (preferably from construction, contractor, or aluminium & glass application industry)

Must have technical material knowledge: good understanding of technical specifications of aluminium (particularly YKK profiles/systems), glass, and supporting hardware/accessories

Strong communication and negotiation skills, professional and wise when dealing with suppliers and internal teams

Detail-oriented, sharp analytical skills with numbers, and accustomed to working to deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Ms. Excel for data recapitulation and price analysis)
