Nova Buildings is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing of raw materials, structural components, and accessories for PEB projects. You will optimize supplier selection, negotiate terms, and coordinate timely deliveries to fabrication plants and job sites.

The Procurement and Logistics Executive is responsible for end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and logistics coordination for raw materials, structural components, and accessories used in the manufacturing and erection of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB). This role ensures cost-effective procurement, timely delivery to fabrication plants and job sites, and efficient inventory control to support project execution timelines.
Key responsibilities
Analyse engineering Bills of Materials (BOM) to identify bulk material needs (e.g., H-beams, cladding, purlins, and fasteners) and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier and logistics vendor contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
Plan and oversee the transport of bulky and oversized fabricated steel from manufacturing plants to construction job sites, ensuring just-in-time (JIT) delivery.
Track order status, expedite critical deliveries and monitor supplier lead times to align with project timelines.
Monitor raw material stocking parameters, handle non-conforming items, and manage material laydown areas at the site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of proven procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within heavy industry, construction, or structural steel/contract manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end procurement and track project materials in line with project schedules.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning tools such as SAP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) or Oracle, particularly for processing purchase orders and monitoring inventory.
Capability to read and interpret CAD or structural detailing drawings to understand material specifications.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for spend analysis and budgeting, along with proficiency in standard MS Office applications (Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with VAT processes and experience collaborating with tax consultants will be considered an advantage.
