Job summary

PT. Berca Mandiri Perkasa is seeking a Procurement Engineer to review material requests and assist in PO preparation for suppliers and vendors.

The role emphasizes supplier qualification, cost optimization, and on-time delivery within MEP project environments. The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical, plus at least 3 years in a procurement engineer role within MEP contracting, and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in MEP contracting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for goods/materials and help prepare POs for suppliers.
• Identify and qualify suppliers based on technical capability, quality, and cost.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely delivery of purchased goods/materials in good condition.
• Maintain inventory recording and vendor list administration.

Job Description:

• Review requests for goods/materials & help prepare PO for suppliers & vendors.
• Identify and qualify suppliers based on technical capability, quality, and cost.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure that purchased goods/materials arrive on time and in appropriate condition.
• Maintain and develop an inventory recording & vendor list administration system.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
• Good understanding of procurement processes, price negotiation, and vendor management
• At least 3 years of working experience in MEP Contractor as Procurement Engineer
• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP system (preferred)
