About the role

PT NOVA MODULAR INDONESIA is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our construction team. This is a full-time position based in Surabaya, East Java, where you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception through completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal to our operations, directly impacting our reputation and success in the modular construction sector.

What you’ll be doing

Planning, scheduling and coordinating all project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines

Managing project budgets, controlling costs and ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently

Supervising and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

Monitoring project progress and quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary

Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, reports and records

Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Liaising with clients and providing regular progress updates and project status reports

Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies

Leading project team meetings and ensuring effective communication among all project stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes and company policies

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction management practices, methodologies and industry standards

Proficiency in project management software and tools, including scheduling and budgeting applications

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English

Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Valid driver's licence for site visits and inspections

Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly desirable
