FLS Group in Jakarta is a leading international logistics and project cargo specialist. This role supports commercial and operational activities by preparing accurate pricing quotations for freight forwarding and transportation services, while analysing cost structures and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

You will maintain pricing databases, review and consolidate cost information from carriers and service providers, and help develop competitive proposals

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Experience or familiarity with pricing, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, including fresh graduates.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and issue pricing quotations for inquiries and tenders.
• Collect and consolidate cost information from carriers and service partners.
• Calculate selling rates, costs, and profit margins for viability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and other departments on service requirements.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and quotation records.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and respond within timelines.
• Review existing rates to improve competitiveness and profitability.
• Support pricing proposals, tenders, and commercial reports.
• Ensure compliance with pricing procedures and approval workflows.
• Monitor market rates and industry developments for pricing decisions.
• Assist supervisor with miscellaneous pricing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB PURPOSE

To support FLS Group's commercial and operational activities by preparing accurate and competitive pricing quotations for logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation services. The role is responsible for analysing cost structures, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensuring timely and commercially viable pricing solutions that meet customer requirements and support business growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and issue pricing quotations for customer enquiries, tenders, and business opportunities in accordance with customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
• Obtain, review, and consolidate cost information from carriers, shipping lines, transport providers, agents, and other service partners.
• Calculate selling rates, cost structures, and profit margins to ensure pricing accuracy and commercial viability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and other relevant departments to understand service requirements, operational constraints, and customer expectations.
• Maintain and regularly update pricing databases, rate sheets, quotation records, and other relevant documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and support the Sales team in responding to customer pricing enquiries within agreed timelines.
• Review existing rates and identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, profitability, and cost efficiency.
• Support the preparation of pricing proposals, tenders, and commercial reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal pricing procedures, approval workflows, and applicable commercial policies.
• Monitor market rates and industry developments to support competitive pricing decisions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in pricing, freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or a related commercial role is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant educational backgrounds and a strong willingness to learn may be considered.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
