Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora in Jakarta is seeking a Commis I-Pastry to support the pastry kitchen in daily operations.

You will assist in ingredient prep, bake and assemble pastries, ensure food safety, and help maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Collaboration with chefs, attention to recipes, quality standards, and presentation will be critical to delivering guest-ready desserts and pastries daily.

Mansioni

• Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Set up and break down work station.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check temperatures of appliances and food.
• Follow safety policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions to manager.
• Maintain clean and professional uniform appearance; protect company assets.
• Speak clearly and professionally; build positive relationships and support team.
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
