Job summary

The Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Jimbaran, Bali, part of Marriott International, seeks a Chef de Partie (Pastry) to lead the pastry section and craft exceptional pastries and desserts for a luxury guest experience.

You will assist the Pastry Chef with quality, safety, cost control, and team development while maintaining high standards and delivering visually stunning creations in a demanding hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or related field.
• Food Hygiene and Food Safety Certification required.
• HACCP certification or knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the pastry section and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes and bakery items.
• Support Pastry Chef with quality, safety, cost control, and team development.
• Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, and motivate pastry staff.
• Ensure food safety compliance and professional guest service.
• Follow safety policies and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or a related field

Food Hygiene and Food Safety Certification
