Job summary

Tribal Bali seeks an Operations Manager to lead Accommodation, F&B, Coworking and Community under one roof in Pererenan. This hands-on role reports to the Director, guiding eight Team Leaders and shaping systems, standards, and the overall guest experience.

You’ll manage budgets, forecasts, and performance, while growing the operation and supporting Tribal's second property in Lombok with pre-opening planning. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• At least three years in hospitality operations, ideally across multiple departments.
• Experience leading eight Team Leaders or department heads.
• Understanding of budgets, costs, revenue and reporting integration.
• Proficient with property management systems, POS, booking platforms and Google Workspace.
• Ability to own problems and drive solutions while maintaining guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Staff departments to ensure full coverage and readiness.
• Monitor standards, guest feedback, and issue resolutions on the floor.
• Improve SOPs and systems and ensure adherence across all teams.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, supplier pricing, and service levels.
• Collaborate with HR to stay legally compliant and manage KPIs.
• Review sales and financial reports; prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Lead recruitment, training and team culture aligned with Tribal values.
• Provide after-hours leadership as needed.

Are you ready to lead a next-generation hospitality operation where Accommodation, F&B, Coworking and Community all sit under one roof?

As Operations Manager at Tribal Bali, you will run the day-to-day operation of the whole Asset, reporting to the Director. You will lead eight Team Leaders across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, Kitchen, Floor, Bar and Community - and make sure that every part of the operation works together to deliver an industry-leading experience for our Guests.

This is a very hands-on role!

You will be visible across the property, close to the team and to the guests - and accountable for our standards, people, costs and results.

Tribal Bali is a Hotel, Hostel, Coworking Space and Community located in Pererenan. Tribal is not a ‘standard hotel’! Our Guests come to Bali for way more than just a holiday. They come here to work on and develop themselves in order to meet their goals in life - whatever those goals may be.

What You Will Experience:

Leading a whole operation, not one department - Accommodation, F&B, Coworking and Community under one roof.

Working closely with the Director on budgets and forecasts.

Coaching and developing a team of eight Team Leaders.

Shaping the systems and standards the property and company runs on.

The chance to support Tribal's second property in Lombok with planning and pre-opening support.

What You Will Be Doing:

Day to day, you will make sure every department is staffed, equipped and ready.

You will be out across the property checking standards, supporting your Team Leaders and dealing with guest feedback and complaints - fixing the issue in front of you and the cause behind it.

You will improve our SOPs and systems and make sure they are followed.

You will supervise purchasing and inventory with your Team Leaders, keep track of supplier prices and service, and work with HR to keep the company legally compliant.

On the numbers, you will review sales and financial reports to find ways to grow revenue and profit.

You will prepare the operational budget and forecasts with the Director, track spending against budget and act on any variances.

On people, you will work with HR to recruit, train, set KPIs and review performance, and build a team culture that reflects our Values.

Out of hours, you will cover evenings, weekends and public holidays when needed, acting as the senior leader on duty.

Have you led several departments at once, through Team Leaders or department heads?

Do you understand how budgets, costs, revenue and reporting fit together?

Are you comfortable with property management systems, POS, booking platforms and Google Workspace?

Do you take ownership of problems and make sound decisions?

Do you enjoy improving how things work - systems, processes and service standards?

Do you care about guest experience and building a positive team?

Are you passionate about helping people to meet their goals and achieve their dreams?

Are you fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken?
