Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline.
• POP, POM, or POU certifications preferred.
• 8–10 years in mining operations with 3–5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with Mining Contractors in cost-controlled P&L environments.
• Experience in Greenfield mining projects from infrastructure to production and shipping.
• Background in Nickel mining or other mineral mining (copper/gold/bauxite) preferred.
• Strong mine planning, pit sequencing, production optimization, and ops management.
• Hands-on fleet matching, equipment ratios, manpower planning, and cost analysis.
• Leadership, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Willingness to work in demanding mining environments; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield mining project development including roads, jetty, pit opening, and site infra.
• Manage end-to-end mining operations: scheduling, pit planning, fleet management, execution.
• Optimize fleet, equipment ratios, manpower, and site productivity.
• Monitor budgets, cost-per-ton, forecasting, and financial efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors, MDO teams, engineering, pit services, local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations, governance.
• Prepare production, operational, and milestone reports for senior management.
• Drive operational improvements and resolve site challenges.
