MatchaTalent is seeking a Mining Project Manager - Nickel Operations in Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia. You will lead end-to-end greenfield mining development, from infrastructure setup to production, ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety compliance.

This hands-on role requires coordinating with contractors and internal teams to optimize fleet and productivity. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in mining operations, 3–5 years in management, and a background in nickel or metal mining.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline.
• POP, POM, or POU certifications are highly preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years in mining operations, with 3–5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with Mining Contractors in cost-controlled environments.
• Strong background in greenfield development from infrastructure to production.
• Nickel/minerals background is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield mining project development including hauling roads, jetty construction, and site infrastructure.
• Oversee end-to-end mining operations: scheduling, pit planning, fleet management, and execution.
• Optimize fleet matching, equipment ratios, manpower allocation, and productivity.
• Monitor budgeting, cost-per-ton, forecasting, and financial efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors, MDO teams, engineering, pit services, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and mining regulations.
• Prepare production, operations, and milestone reports for senior management.
• Drive operational improvements and resolve field challenges.
