MatchaTalent is seeking a Mining Project Manager – Nickel Operations to lead end-to-end greenfield mining development, infrastructure setup, and production optimization in Indonesia. You will manage fleet deployment, contractor coordination, and production performance while ensuring safety and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a mining-related technical field.
• Certifications such as POP, POM, or POU are highly preferred.
• At least 8–10 years in mining operations with leadership exposure.
• Experience with Mining Contractors and strict cost-control environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield mining project development including haulage roads, jetty construction, pit opening, and site infrastructure.
• Manage end-to-end mining operations: production scheduling, pit planning, fleet management, and execution.
• Optimize fleet matching, equipment ratios, manpower allocation, and site productivity.
• Monitor budgeting, cost-per-ton, forecasting, and financial efficiency across projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, MDO teams, engineering, pit services, and local stakeholders to ensure continuity.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations, and governance.
• Prepare production, operation, and project milestone reports for senior management.
• Drive operational improvements and resolve site-related challenges during execution.
