Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia seeks a Cluster Sales Manager for Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Resort Bintan. You will lead sales efforts across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments, driving revenue growth and expanding market share.

You will develop strategies, manage key accounts, and collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to maximise performance, while delivering superior guest experiences and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a Sales Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of the local and regional market, including corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
• Good analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and properties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for both properties.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE, and other market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, corporate clients, and business partners.
• Manage sales activities, client appointments, site inspections, and sales presentations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise revenue and business performance.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and action plans to achieve commercial objectives.
