Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Procurement or a related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing experience in mining is mandatory.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and able to handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process purchase requests from site and office departments.
• Source suppliers and request quotations.
• Compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable prices and terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Follow up on orders and ensure on‑time delivery to the mining site.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, logistics, and internal departments.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier information.
• Handle issues related to delays, damages, or incorrect deliveries.
• Ensure purchases follow company policies and procedures.
