The role requires a Bachelor's in mining, logistics, SCM or related field, 7–10 years of mining ops experience with 3+ years in leadership, fluent Mandarin, and strong knowledge of port operations, export rules, and ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate all mineral shipment operations from production handoff to delivery.

• Maintain relationships with logistics providers, partners, and authorities to ensure smooth ops.
• Monitor shipment performance metrics and report on on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping and mining/export regulations.
• Coordinate with production, QC and commercial teams to align activities.
• Manage shipment documentation including invoices and customs declarations.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead shipment and logistics team with coaching and performance management.
• Prepare reports and forecasts for senior management.

Description du poste

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of mineral shipment operations, from production handoff through final delivery to customers

Develop and implement shipment schedules and logistics plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of mining products

Manage relationships with logistics providers, shipping partners, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth operations

Monitor and report on shipment performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, cost efficiency and product quality

Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, environmental standards, and relevant mining and export regulations

Coordinate with production, quality control and commercial teams to align shipment activities with operational requirements and customer expectations

Manage shipment-related documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations and certificates of analysis

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and minimise environmental impact

Lead a team of shipment and logistics personnel, providing supervision, guidance and performance management

Prepare comprehensive reports and forecasts for senior management on shipment operations and performance

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field

Must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese and able to communicate fluently with native Mandarin speakers.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in mining operations or related sectors, with at least 3 years in a shipment, logistics or corporate operations management role

Demonstrated expertise in managing mineral shipment operations, including port operations, logistics coordination and international shipping

Strong knowledge of mining industry regulations, export requirements and international shipping standards

Proven experience with shipment management systems and logistics software

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and timelines simultaneously

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimisation

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, external partners and regulatory authorities

Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and develop team members

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Fluency in Indonesian, English, and Mandarin (both written and verbal)

Preferred: experience with mining products such as coal, minerals or metals; familiarity with port operations in Indonesia; certifications in supply chain management or logistics
