Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya (AMJ) seeks a seasoned Production Supervisor to oversee daily mining operations, drive production targets, and mentor teams in remote Indonesian sites. You will monitor equipment and ensure SHE compliance, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and implement efficiency improvements while maintaining accurate reports.

Applicants should have 5+ years in mining, strong leadership, Bahasa Indonesia and English communication, and willingness to work shifts in nickel

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in mining operations, specifically in nickel extraction or similar mineral mining.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with proven success in motivating and developing staff.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations specific to mining operations in Indonesia.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, production reports, and operational data.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to optimise production processes.
• Train and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Respond promptly to incidents and accidents, ensuring proper investigation and preventive measures are implemented.

What we're looking for

Comprehensive understanding of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations specific to mining operations in Indonesia

Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure

Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, production reports, and operational data

Experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource optimisation

Familiarity with mining software systems and data management tools is advantageous

Valid driving licence and willingness to work in remote mining locations

Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as operational requirements dictate
