Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya seeks an experienced mining production supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage crews, and ensure safety and efficiency in a demanding environment.

Job description

Oversee daily mining production operations and monitor team performance against production targets and schedules

Lead, supervise and coordinate mining production crews, ensuring all personnel operate safely and efficiently

Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols and procedures across all production areas

Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks with production teams

Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime

Manage production records, reports and documentation in compliance with company standards

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

Communicate with management regarding production status, challenges and achievements

Train and mentor junior supervisors and production staff in best practices and operational procedures

Ensure compliance with all relevant mining regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Minimum 6 years experience in mining production operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

Strong knowledge of mining operations, equipment and production processes relevant to mineral extraction

Demonstrated expertise in health, safety and environmental (HSE) management and a commitment to zero-harm principles

Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage diverse teams in demanding operational environments

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to make sound decisions under pressure

Proficiency in maintaining detailed production records and generating reports

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Indonesian

A valid driver's licence and willingness to work in a remote mining location

Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions and varying weather

Preferred: Formal qualifications in mining supervision or operational management

Preferred: Experience with production scheduling software and systems
