Job summary

Arkadia Works is seeking an experienced MEP Drafter to join our interior design and construction team in Jakarta. The role focuses on designing MEP systems for new interior projects and coordinating with clients, designers, and subcontractors.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in MEP drafting or planning, a degree in Electrical Engineering (D3/S1), and proficiency in AutoCAD. Dialux is preferred, and reading electrical wiring diagrams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education should be D3 or S1 in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant MEP drafting/planning experience.
• Experience with contractor environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design MEP systems for new interior projects.
• Supervise electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations in the field.
• Coordinate with customers, designers, subcontractors and others.
• Handle electrical systems including sockets, lighting, CCTV, wiring diagrams, and panel calculations.
• Assess mechanical system needs and capacity for air conditioning.
• Ensure QA and QC of the job.

Job description

Minimum education D3/S1 from Electrical Engineering is a must.

Minimum 2 years of working experience as an MEP Drafter or in MEP Planning.

Having experience in the field of contractor is preferable.

Being able to use AutoCAD is a must, and proficiency in Dialux is preferable.

Have the ability to read Electrical Wiring Diagrams.

Responsibilities:

Designing MEP systems for new interior projects.

Supervise electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations in the field (usually in the building).

Coordinate with several parties such as customers, designers, subcontractors, and others.

Responsible for handling electrical system (such as electric sockets, lights, CCTV, phone connection, speaker, able to read wiring diagrams for calculation and panel purposes, etc.)

Responsible for handling mechanical systems (have a knowledge in determining need and capacity of Air Conditioning, etc).

Handle the QA and QC of the job.
