MatchaTalent is recruiting an R&D Formulation Manager – Personal Care in Indonesia. You will lead from concept to production-ready formulas for skincare, haircare, and body care, with emphasis on scratch formulations and genuine innovation.

You will build and lead the local R&D team, establish protocols, oversee trials, and manage scale-up to mass production while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance across BPOM Indonesia and related standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/cosmetic sciences or related.
• 7–10 years hands-on formulation experience in cosmetics/personal care.
• Proven track record developing formulations from scratch.

Aufgaben

• Lead formulation research and develop production-ready formulas from scratch.
• Identify opportunities via raw materials trends and active ingredients.
• Design and oversee lab trials, stability testing, and validation.
• Scale-up from lab/pilot to mass production with formula consistency.
• Develop skincare, haircare, and body care formulations.
• Maintain formulation documentation and specifications.
• Ensure BPOM Indonesia and/or NMPA compliance.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, Marketing, Procurement.
