Job summary

WIK - ELEKTROGERÄTE Entwicklungs- und Service-GmbH & Co. KG in Indonesia seeks an experienced Die Casting Operations Manager to lead our die casting activities, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets within a fast-growing international team.

You will drive Lean initiatives, collaborate with QA, Final Assembly, and Global Project Management, and benchmark industry practices while advancing environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ working experience in die casting management.
• Strong in die casting processes, tools, and quality control.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office; SAP is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, cost control, and profitability improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall Die Casting operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Drive cost reduction via VAVE and oversee production to meet output targets.
• Coordinate with QA, Final Assembly, Global Project Management, and others; represent department in management meetings.
• Oversee project execution, improve Lean Maturity Level (LML) and drive CI; apply Lean, TPM.
• Benchmark operational technology with industry leaders and collaborate to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations including B3 handling and environmental standards.

Your Tasks

• Lead and manage overall Die Casting operations to achieve company targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and responsible for all issues related to the Die Casting department.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through VAVE activities. Oversee production organization to ensure targets for output, quality, and delivery are achieved. New project development in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Final Assembly, Global Project Management, and other departments for operational alignment. Represent the department in company management meetings.
• Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives. Improve Lean Maturity Level (LML) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement.
• Benchmark operational technology with industry leaders and implement best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including B3 handling and environmental standards Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives. Your Profile

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, or related field, with minimum 6 years’ working experience in the same position.
• Strong in die casting process, operation, engineer, production management and knowledge in die casting tools, die casting profession, and for 6s, and quality control. Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Strong leadership and team management, concern with P&L performance, including cost efficiency and profitability improvement. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Fluent in English, solid skill for Microsoft office (word, excel, power point, etc.), SAP is advantage, good attitude with adaptability to company culture and seek for continuous improvement.
• Good interpersonal communication and influence skills, problem solving skills, ability or logic to assess problems and take the appropriate course of action, able to handle multi-task and perform well under pressure.
