Job summary

Engio is seeking a Die-Casting Expert for a multinational client based in Batam, Indonesia. The role centers on overseeing and optimizing high-volume die-casting operations, setting up machines, and solving production issues to ensure quality metal parts.

You will work with engineering and quality teams to drive process improvements, efficiency, and safety. The position requires 4+ years in relevant manufacturing and the ability to be located in Batam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in household electrical appliance manufacturing or die-casting.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum high-pressure die casting and reading technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to be placed in Batam, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the die-casting process in a high-volume environment.
• Set up and operate die-casting machines; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes.
• Enhance efficiency, maintain safety standards, and control costs.
• Prepare reports on the die-casting department and initiatives.

Position Overview:

The die-casting expert position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the die-casting process in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating die-casting machines, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high-quality metal cast parts. The expert will work closely with engineering and quality teams to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage work tasks, develop strategic plans, and set organizational goals.
• Identify operational challenges in the Die Casting Department and implement effective solutions.
• Lead initiatives to analyze and improve processes, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee budget implementation, cost control, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Support projects and handle additional assignments as required.
• Prepare and submit reports of the die-casting department and its initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in household electrical appliance manufacturing, die-casting processes, or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of die-casting manufacturing or mold operation management.
• Strong expertise in aluminum high-pressure die casting and proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with relevant departments and customers on improvements and operational matters.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to company culture, teamwork skills, and the ability to multitask while striving for continuous improvement.
• Willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
