Job summary

Ayana, Bali's premier luxury resort, seeks a proactive Purchasing Officer to join the Finance team. You will research potential vendors, negotiate terms, track orders, and ensure quality and timely delivery for a curated set of luxury amenities.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in related fields, at least two years of resort procurement experience, and fluent English. Indonesian citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Indonesian citizen only
• Minimum 2 years experience in a luxury resort purchasing role
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience as Purchasing Officer
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures

Responsibilities

• Research potential vendors
• Compare and evaluate supplier offers
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery info and invoices
