Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably within oleochemical or chemical manufacturing sectors.
• Supervisor experience of at least 3 years.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Willing to work onsite at Sei Mangkei, North Sumatra.

Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Manager in end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse management.
• Coordinate domestic and export logistics, including ISO tanks, road tankers, and trucking.
• Ensure compliance with RSPO, Halal, and ISCC certifications.
• Monitor inventory accuracy via SAP transactions and cycle counts.
• Liaise with Production and Procurement to align inbound and outbound schedules.
• Assist in cost control related to demurrage, detention, and port delays.
• Evaluate 3PL providers and shipping lines for routing and cost efficiency.

What You'll Be Doi

The Logistics Assistant Manager supports the Logistics Manager in executing end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse management, domestic and export logistics, international shipping coordination, and customs compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across warehouse and logistics functions, with strong involvement in handling bulk liquids, dry materials, hazardous goods, and maintaining compliance with certifications such as RSPO, Halal, and ISCC.

  Support and supervise daily warehouse operations for dry bulk and packaged goods (e.g., fatty acids, glycerin, soap noodles, calcium soap).Ensure high level of inventory accuracy through SAP transactions, stock reconciliation, and cycle count exec ution.Monitor proper handling, storage, and movement of chemical and hazardous materials in line with HSE stan dards.Assist in maintaining warehouse layout efficiency and storage optimi zationCoordinate and monitor domestic distribution activities, including ISO tanks, road tankers, and trucking operations.Supervise picking, packing, and loading processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfil lement.Track logistics performance metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and escape issues when n eded.Liaise with Production and Procurement teams to ensure alignment of inbound and outbound sch edulesExecute and monitor export shipment processes across various modes: FCL / LCL, ISO Tanks, & Flex i bagsCoordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for booking and delivery arrange ments.Assist in controlling and minimizing costs related to demurrage, detention, and port d elays.Ensure completeness and accuracy of shipping documen tationSupport customs clearance activities for both export and import ship ments.Ensure documentation compliance with local regulations, especially within KEK Sei Mangkei
