Job summary

EVYAP in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned QC Analyst to lead quality control in our oleochemical/FMCG operations. The role requires 7+ years in QC with at least 3 in a supervisory capacity and readiness to work on-site in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatra.

You will perform chem testing on raw materials and finished products, compile reports, and drive quality improvements while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and GMP standards; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QC Analyst roles with at least 3 years in a Supervisor position in Oleochemical or FMCG.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at Sei Mangkei site, North Sumatra.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per SOPs.
• Analyze the quality of materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Record and interpret laboratory results accurately.
• Support production with timely testing and analysis of process samples.
• Provide technical recommendations based on lab findings.
• Ensure equipment calibration and proper maintenance.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or GMP guidelines.
• Conduct product stability and compatibility testing.

What You'll Be Doing?

To perform chemical testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulations. Provide support for product development and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing (titration, GC, HPLC, FTIR, viscosity, pH, etc.) according to SOPs.
• Analyse the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Record and interpret laboratory results accurately.
• Support production by providing timely testing and analysis of process samples.
• Provide technical recommendations based on laboratory findings.
• Accurately record test results in LIMS or manual logbooks.
• Prepare analysis reports and communicate results to relevant departments.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
• Follow quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or GMP guidelines.
• Conduct product stability and compatibility testing.
• Adhere to safety procedures and chemical waste management protocols.
• Use proper PPE and maintain laboratory cleanliness.
