Job summary

IKEA is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead Talent Review and Succession Planning, drive Learning & Development, and partner with leadership to build organizational capability. You will oversee the annual people cycle, develop development initiatives, and translate talent data into actionable insights for business impact.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in HR, including 3+ years in a managerial or HRBP role, with strong English communication and experience in retail/services.

• Minimum 5 years HR experience including 3 years in a managerial/HRBP role.
• Experience in retail/services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Talent Review and Succession Planning.

• Develop Learning, Talent & Development strategies and initiatives.
• Identify competence gaps, build relevant learning solutions, and improve content and facilitator effectiveness.
• Use data and digital platforms to monitor effectiveness and collaborate with partners.

What you'll be doing day to day:

• Lead and continuously develop Talent Review and Succession Planning, including processes, tools, talent pipelines and follow-up development actions
• Partner with functions, units, and leadership teams to strengthen succession readiness and organizational capability
• Lead the annual people cycle, including objective setting, mid-year, and year-end performance and development processes
• Develop and execute Learning, Talent & Development strategies and initiatives, including commercial, leadership and competence development
• Identify competence gaps, build relevant learning solutions, and continuously improve learning content, facilitator capability and impact
• Use data and digital platforms such as My Learning and Talent Central to monitor effectiveness, support talent development and collaborate with DFI IKEA, Inter IKEA, Service Office, stores and relevant partners

We want you to be a person who:

• Background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Business Management or related field
• Has at least 5 years of professional HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or HR Business Partner role, preferably within retail and/or services industries
• Has proven experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Succession Planning and broader people development strategies aligned with business goals
• Is analytical and able to translate people and talent data into meaningful insights, recommendations and actions that support business performance
• Communicates confidently in English and can coach, influence and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across cultures and organizational levels
• Is comfortable leveraging AI, digital tools and data analytics to improve HR operations, talent management, and learning effectiveness
