Job summary

PT HORMEL PRONAS NUSANTARA is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our Batang, Central Java facility. The role oversees all production operations, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant processes to meet quality targets and customer demand.

You will lead a skilled team, manage schedules and budgets, and drive continuous improvements across planning, production, and maintenance, while working with cross-functional groups and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in leading production teams and achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Thorough understanding of food safety standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Manage production schedules and coordinate with planning.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Lead production staff with training and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and QA protocols.
• Manage budgets, control costs, optimise resources.
• Identify process improvements and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, planning, logistics.
• Maintain production records and reports.
