Royal Caribbean Group seeks an experienced CDP Baker to lead bakery operations aboard its ship, ensuring smooth daily production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus. You will coach and supervise the bakery crew, manage forecasts, control wastage, and maintain USPH compliance while delivering excellent guest service in a multicultural maritime environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale hospitality or cruise settings.
• A culinary school degree is required.
• Strong management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Superior customer service, teambuilding and conflict resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of personalized service principles and guest satisfaction evaluation.
• Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing and evaluating skills.
• Intermediate computer software skills.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, adjustments).
• Ability to write reports and maintain rapport with senior officers and corporate office.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures smooth operation and control of bakery shop and daily production according to policies.
• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates staff with Head Baker.
• Responsible for production, quality and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to minimize waste and control food costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets.
• Ensure compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of bakery per schedule.
• Prepare for USPH inspections and ready pantry shops for evaluations.
• Manage requisition and transport from main stores to bakery shop.
• Ensure recipes/master list and yields meet company standards.
• Complete daily production recap and coach/train team members.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor or management.
