Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior Linux storage administrator in Jakarta to manage enterprise Linux environments across physical and virtual servers, along with extensive storage arrays and SAN fabric. The role emphasizes patching, backup operations, and automation using Ansible.

The candidate will maintain high-availability clusters, LVM, and storage health, while troubleshooting incidents within SLA targets; experience with Veritas and Veeam backup suites is required.

Qualifications

• Expert Linux administration: RHEL 7/8/9, CentOS, Ubuntu Server with patching via RedHat Satellite
• Storage management across diverse arrays (HPE 3Par, Primera; Hitachi G600/G1000; PureStorage FA-m20r2; Dell PowerMax)
• SAN fabric operations including Brocade/HPE switches; LUN provisioning and zoning
• High-availability clustering with Veritas Infoscale Cluster; LVM management
• Backup administration using Veeam Backup & Replication, Veritas NetBackup, Ops Center; Oracle Tape Library SL8500
• Automation scripting with Ansible and Bash; infrastructure-as-code practices

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux OS environments across physical and virtual servers (Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant DL380/DL560 Gen10, Dell R740)
• Manage enterprise storage arrays and SAN fabric; perform LUN provisioning and capacity management
• Execute OS patching with RedHat Satellite; maintain system compliance and security baselines
• Operate Veritas NetBackup and Veeam Backup for Linux workloads; manage Oracle Tape Library SL8500
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, patching, and configuration management
• Troubleshoot L2 incidents related to Linux OS, storage, SAN, and backup within defined SLA (1-4-6)

Good to Have:

• VMware vCenter integration for guest OS management within ESXi environment
• Knowledge of CyberArk PAM for privileged Unix account management
• Familiarity with Hitachi G-Series storage management tools
• Experience with HPE OneView and InfoSight for proactive storage health monitoring
• UU PDP compliance awareness for data-at-rest encryption on storage arrays
