Job summary

System Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a System Administrator who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud environments. The role ensures the availability, reliability, security, and performance of company infrastructure services to support business operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise server environments including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Perform administration and monitoring of virtualization platforms, particularly VMware environments.
• Manage server infrastructure including system deployment, configuration, patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Active Directory, including user management, access control, authentication, and group policies.
• Manage and monitor storage infrastructure such as SAN and NAS solutions.
• Support cloud infrastructure operations across platforms such as AWS, Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud), and other cloud environments.
• Perform system backup, recovery, disaster recovery procedures, and ensure business continuity.
• Conduct system health monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices including system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access management.
• Maintain technical documentation including system architecture, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support IT infrastructure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, Server Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
  • Windows Server administration
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) / Linux administration
  • VMware virtualization
  • Active Directory and Windows services
  • SAN/NAS storage management
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or similar)
• Understanding of:
  • Server virtualization concepts
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • High availability architecture
  • Infrastructure monitoring tools
  • IT security practices
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to create technical documentation and operational reports.
• Relevant certifications are preferred:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
