Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Network Engineer to manage enterprise LAN/WAN networks across data centres and offices in Jakarta. You will configure routers, switches, WLCs, VLANs, and VPNs, while ensuring reliable connectivity and security.

You will monitor performance with SNMP/NetFlow, perform incident resolution, maintain diagrams and SOPs, and coordinate with carriers and cloud teams to restore services quickly.

Qualifications

• Must have enterprise LAN/WAN administration across data centres and offices.
• Experience with Cisco switches/routers and wireless operations.
• Strong firewall, VPN, ACL and network security policy administration.
• Experience with network monitoring using SNMP, NetFlow and Grafana/Nagios.
• Experience with incident, change and problem management with SLA-driven escalation and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Administer LAN, WAN, wireless and perimeter network infrastructure across data centres and offices.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, WLC/APs, VLANs, routing protocols, firewall policies and VPN connectivity.
• Monitor availability, latency, utilisation and packet loss; tune alerts and maintain capacity baselines.
• Perform L2 incident resolution, implement changes and produce root-cause analyses within SLA.
• Maintain network diagrams, IP plans, configuration backups, SOPs and CMDB records.
• Coordinate with carriers, managed network providers, cloud teams, security teams and on-site engineers for complex restoration activities.

About the Role:

Must Have:

• Enterprise LAN/WAN administration across data centres and offices, including VLAN, trunking, STP, routing, QoS, NAT and IP addressing
• Cisco switch, router and wireless operations across enterprise office and data-centre networks
• Firewall, site-to-site and remote-access VPN, ACL and network security policy administration
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting using SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix/Nagios/Grafana and packet analysis tools
• Incident, change and problem management through Symphony Summit with SLA-driven escalation and RCA

Good to Have:

• SD-WAN and multi-cloud connectivity across Tencent Cloud, GCP, AWS and Azure
• Network automation using Python, Ansible or REST APIs
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Zero Trust, WAF/CDN and Check Point CloudGuard
• Knowledge of micro-segmentation and virtual networking with VMware NSX-T
