Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Sales Engineer for the PLN & EPC sector to drive growth in Indonesia. The role covers identifying opportunities, delivering technical-commercial presentations, and negotiating contracts while coordinating with engineering and project teams.

Based in Jakarta, the successful candidate will manage key accounts with PLN, EPCs, IPPs, and large industrial clients, ensuring post-sales support and strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales or sales engineering in electrical equipment manufacturing/EPC.
• Fluent English with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and manage key accounts across PLN, EPCs, IPPs, industrial estates, mining, oil & gas.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with project owners, consultants, contractors and decision-makers.
• Deliver technical presentations, prepare commercial proposals and recommend HV equipment solutions.
• Monitor pipelines, tenders, procurement activities and upcoming opportunities in power transmission projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality and project management to meet customer needs.
• Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, project docs and post-sales activities.
• Conduct client visits, site meetings and industry networking to uncover opportunities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field
