Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a PLN & EPC Key Account Sales Engineer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role focuses on growing business with PLN, EPC contractors, IPPs, and major industrial clients, managing the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiations.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams to deliver consultative solutions for high-voltage equipment, conduct site visits, and support tenders while building long-term customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Business.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales or sales engineering in electrical equipment manufacturing or EPC.
• Experience with PLN, EPC, IPP or large industrial customers.
• Strong knowledge of transformers, HV equipment, substations and switchgear.
• Experience in technical sales, tenders, negotiations and long-term relationships.
• Proficiency in English (professional level).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Willingness to train in Cikarang before Jakarta posting.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts across PLN, EPC contractors, IPPs, industrial estates, mining, and oil & gas.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with project owners, consultants, contractors and key decision-makers.
• Deliver technical presentations, prepare commercial proposals and recommend HV equipment solutions.
• Monitor project pipelines, tenders, procurement activities and upcoming opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality and project management to meet requirements.
• Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, project documentation and post-sales activities.
• Conduct client visits, site meetings and industry networking to strengthen relationships.
