Job summary

BINUS Group in Jakarta Barat is seeking a hands-on IT operations trainee to maintain IT infrastructure and support users. You will work on system, network, and IP telephony reliability, install applications, and manage servers with guidance from a supervisor.

The role welcomes Diploma/D3 holders or university students (6th semester) who are eager to learn and grow, with no prior experience required. A collaborative lab environment is provided.

• Willing to learn; no prior working experience required.
• Knowledge and ability to use various systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability and availability of IT operations and infrastructure (system, network, IP telephony).
• Handle and repair problems related to IT operation coverage (hardware, OS, software).
• Maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and related software applications.
• Provide troubleshooting solutions for users in related areas.
• Maintain domain controller, file server, and mail server; document IT inventory.
• Install required applications in Computer Laboratory and for related users.
• Assist users with accessing IT systems and networks.
• Record logbook/history of reported problems and their resolutions.
• Support QA and continuous improvement activities as needed.

IT Operation Maintenance:

• Maintain the reliability and availability of IT Operation and Infrastructure (system and application, network and IP telephony)
• Handle and repair problems related with IT Operation coverage (i.e., hardware, operating system, software application)
• Maintain good condition of the computer hardware, operating system, and other software applications
• Provide proper trouble shooting solutions for users in related area
• Maintain the domain controller server, file server, and mail server
• Maintain documentation of all Computer Laboratory & IT inventory
• Provide guidance and suggest various solution in handling matters in IT Operation coverage area (database & application, network, IT infrastructure)

Data & Application:

• Install required application in Computer Laboratory and related users
• Handle application installation process and maintenance
• Prepare system documentation of related application and its changes

Network & Technical Support:

• Arrange user access login in related area
• Distribute IT equipment and installing the network system
• Participate in identifying the needs for additional hardware and software components required according to related task
• Assist users in accessing the IT system and software
• Install and distribute computers’ staff
• Arrange logbook/history of all reported problems and trouble shoots of components within the system

Management Support Activities:

• Provide Report to direct Supervisor
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor
