Job summary

BINUS University is seeking a student or recent graduate to assist in maintaining and securing the university's IT infrastructure. The role focuses on testing server and network security, fixing vulnerabilities, and supporting ongoing cybersecurity efforts within the data center.

applicants should be in the 6th semester of a Computer Studies program or hold a Diploma/D3, with no required prior work experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/D3 or university student in computer studies is required.
• No prior working experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of system administration, hardware, software and networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and fix server and network issues, address vulnerabilities.
• Support research on products, services, and standards for secure data center development.
• Improve database and system performance, document procedures and improve efficiency; ensure security tools and processes compliance.
• Assist with cybersecurity activities related to databases, networks and servers.
• Implement, monitor, and support security devices to protect against intrusions.

Maintain Security System:

• Performtesting process forserver and network, correct errors and make necessary modificationsif there is vulnerability in current infrastructure.
• Supportresearch on products, services, protocols, and standardstosecureofall network anddata center development effort.
• Provides continual improvements ondatabase and systemoperational performances, quality procedures documentation, and organizational efficiency by ensuringsecuritytools and processes.
• Ensureall software and hardware products compliance to IT Infrastructure department standards and systems.
• Supportcyber securityactivities related to analysisofdatabase, networks andserversystemoperationaland implement all data center plans.
• Implement, support, and monitor network security devices to protect against internal and external intrusions, attacks, and hacks.
• Creating, maintaining and submitting information system security documents.

General Requirement: Minimum Diploma Degree (D3), or University student (6th semester) in Computer Studies

Work Exposure/ Experience: No working experience
