Job summary
PT. RailSure Solutions Indonesia, an Australian-owned infrastructure engineering group based in Surabaya, seeks an IT Operations professional to manage Linux server environments and provide day-to-day IT support for the office team.
The role splits time between server administration and user support, covering Linux, Windows, 365, and basic networking. Fresh graduates are welcome, and familiarity with AWS is a plus.
Qualifications

- Familiar with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Linux VPS environments (Ubuntu Server).
- Service health monitoring, disk and certificate management.
- Operating system and container security patching.
- Database backup verification and recovery testing.
- Escalation to our platform vendor and issue follow-through.
- Maintain system documentation and runbooks.
- First-line IT support for staff, on-site and remote.
- Windows OS troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, DNS, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- IT asset and inventory management.

PT. RailSure Solutions Indonesia is an Australian-owned infrastructure engineering group operating from Surabaya. We deliver railway systems engineering, EV charging infrastructure, security systems and electrical infrastructure across Indonesia and Australia. Certified to ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 37001.
You will look after our Linux server environments and provide day-to-day IT support to our office team. Roughly half your time on servers, half on user support.
- Monitor and maintain Linux VPS environments (Ubuntu Server)
- Service health monitoring, disk and certificate management
- Operating system and container security patching
- Database backup verification and recovery testing

- Windows OS troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 administration (accounts, mailboxes, licences)
- Hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance
- Basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, DNS, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
- IT asset and inventory management
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Fresh graduates welcome, experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, System Administration or IT Operations is a plus
- Familiar with Microsoft and Windows environments, including Microsoft 365
- Hands-on experience with Linux and basic server administration
- Familiar with AWS or similar cloud and server environments
- Basic networking and IT infrastructure troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of system monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
