Job summary

RSM Indonesia is seeking a qualified Junior IT Operations professional to join our Corporate Information Technology team. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day IT operations and ensuring that IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment run smoothly to support business needs.

You will handle network and server management, backups, daily operations, IT administration, and workstation provisioning for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems
• Min. 2 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, IT Infrastructure
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Management (server/storage, data center, cloud, virtualization)
• Understanding of Network Management (LAN/WAN, VPN, configuration)
• Knowledge of IT Security (firewall, endpoint security, data protection, access control)
• Familiarity with IT Service Management / ITIL
• Basic understanding of database management and application security
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills
• Good communication and cross-team collaboration
• Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Relevant IT certifications an advantage

The Junior IT Operations role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the company and ensuring that IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment run smoothly, reliably, and efficiently to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle network & server structure management performance to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
2. Handle backup systems, verify data integrity, and maintain disaster recovery procedures to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
3. Perform daily computer operations and troubleshooting to ensure systems function properly.
4. Perform IT administration and document filling.
5. Prepare and configure laptops/PCs for new employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Min. 2 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, IT Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Management (e.g. server & storage management, data center operations, cloud infrastructure management, virtualization technologies).
• Understanding of Network Management, including LAN/WAN, VPN, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT security, including firewall, endpoint security, data protection, and access control.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management / ITIL principles is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of database management and application/infrastructure security.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with different teams and users.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
