Job summary

Meratus Group in Surabaya is seeking an IT Assurance & Support Engineer to maintain our core IT systems, hardware, software, and networks to ensure smooth daily operations across all business functions.

The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate to 2 years in IT support or SysAdmin, proficient in Windows troubleshooting, basic networking, and IT asset management. You will provide user support, manage inventory, onboard new users, and assist in technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates to 2 years in IT support, helpdesk or sys admin.
• Proficient in Windows OS troubleshooting and basic networking.
• Familiar with IT asset management databases.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Position Overview :We are looking for a proactive IT Assurance & Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our core IT systems, hardware, software, and networks to ensure smooth daily operations across all business functions.

Responsibilities :

• User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide timely direct and remote technical support, resolving hardware, software, network, and application issues to maintain high user satisfaction.
• Asset & Inventory Management: Monitor and track the detail of all in/out IT equipment within the database, ensuring 100% accuracy between physical inventory and system records.
• Onboarding & User Provisioning: Prepare, install, configure, and allocate IT hardware, standard software, and system access rights for new team members.
• Maintenance & Operations: Execute routine technical maintenance, system testing, and hardware/software upgrades across company workstations.
• System Assurance & Training: Conduct individual training for users on new or updated technologies and assist in evaluating recommendations for new IT hardware/software acquisitions.
• Project Support: Assist in implementing technology projects of moderate scope and impact while maintaining 5R standards in the workplace environment.

Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Fresh graduates to 2 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Systems Administration.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, basic networking protocols, and standard corporate software suites.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and IT asset management databases.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong service orientation, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
